Egg Laying Stimulant- Calcium Blend

The Egg laying Stimulant and Calcium Blend is a specially formulated feed for laying hens and point of lay pullets.

Rich in Vitamins, minerals, fats, protein and of course Calcium.  100% natural herbs, spices and insects. It also contains herbs known for their egg production and laying stimulant properties.

Calcium is important for growing bodies, but it is also a key component of eggshells.
The shell is mainly made up of calcium carbonate or CaCO3. The source of calcium is important when it comes to the laying hen. Laying hens need more than 3 times the amount of Calcium that a non laying hen needs.

That is why feeding the right feed for the right life stage is important. A hen that does not have enough in the way of calcium reserves in her body can produce soft eggshells or no eggs at all.

Fennel- is known to enhance reproductive health in chickens, and so is an incredibly powerful laying stimulant for your girls.

Chia- a good source of calcium. Chia also contains boron, which helps to metabolize calcium, magnesium, manganese, and phosphorus for healthy growth of bones and muscles.

Parsley- rich in vitamins, promotes circulatory system development, and is a strong laying stimulant.

Marjoram Strong laying stimulant and beneficial against certain harmful bacteria, such as Staphylococcus, E. coli, shigella, proteus, and Pseudomonas.

Soldier Fly Larvae-These insects have a high calcium to phospohorous ratio (6:1). Also contain about 40% protein and 30% fat.

Dried Mealworms- packed full of protein, vitamins and high-grade edible oils.

Garlic-Chicken keepers have been giving garlic to their hens for decades, possibly longer, to help them treat infection and respiratory problems but also to improve their appetite and the size and quality of the eggs they lay.

Shell Grit- High Calcium and aids digestion

What size do I need?

We recommend 1 tablespoon to one cup of feed. (one tablespoon approx 3g)

400g- approx 40 tablespoons

1kg- approx 100 tablespoons

2kg- approx 200 tablespoons 

4.5kg- approx 500 tablespoons 

 
Can be fed in conjunction with Revival and Moult Blend at the recommended levels.

Does not replace normal feed.
